“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,” 1 Peter 5:6, NKJV.
“By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life” Proverbs 22:4, NKJV.
If you need to hear God’s voice, humility is the first step to hearing Him. Humility helps everything in you to adjust, every desire, all pride, all your intellect, every motive, every fight of worry or anxiety, to bow down with reverence, with surrender, and listen to God your Source.
Humility will help you, as a man, be vulnerable. Be done with pretending and tell God you thought you knew something about your life, but you don’t know nothing. You don’t know what to do, or where to go without Him. If you can take on this attitude that you don’t know anything, God will tell you everything you need to know.
Prayer: Father, I give You all the glory, honor, and praise. I choose to step into humility. I don’t know nothing. You hold my life in Your hands. Show me what to do, where to go. Help me humble myself. I am ready for change. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
