“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” Ephesians 3:20, KJV.
You may not have it all together, but God does. You may not know everything, but God knows all, and He sees all. You can’t change anyone’s heart, but God can. Instead of focusing on your inabilities, rest in God’s supernatural ability. This is what creates peace in our lives. This is what removes any pressure we’ve placed on ourselves to make it happen, to have it all figured out, or change anyone. It will lift the heavy burden from off of your shoulders. Resting in God’s ability releases His power to go to work in your life and your situations.
God is able to save us to the uttermost (Hebrews 7:25).
God is able to keep us (2 Timothy 1:12).
God is able to help us when we are tempted to sin (Hebrews 2:18).
God is able to help us stand when we’ve fallen (Romans 14:4).
God is able to accomplish what concerns us (Psalm 138:8).
God is able to heal (Psalm 103:2-4).
Prayer: Father God, I give You praise! Thank You for speaking directly to me. I put my focus on You, on Your word and on what only You can do. You are my God, and nothing is too hard for You! Help me stay mindful of resting in Your ability. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
