Let patience have its’ perfect work in you

June 19, 2019

“But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” James 1:4, NKJV.

Sometimes, we wonder why God hasn’t moved yet, why something hasn’t happened, or when will God allow you to do something. Sometimes, He is simply shaping patience in you. It may not feel good at the moment, but when patience is complete, you won’t lack the perfect will of God in your life.

Patience produces priority in our lives. It establishes what is more important and needful for us. Patience produces the right perspective. It humbles our hearts to be thankful and content in God alone. Above all, God is working in you the attribute of humility, to where when He blesses you with what you desire, you are able to handle it.

Let patience have her perfect work in you. Like being in the next room in your home, know that God is in another room, working on something needful in you that you may not be aware of. He is preparing a woman for you that you are not aware of. He is opening doors for you that you’re not aware of. He is working on blessing you with something far better than you can think or you’ve asked for. He is building and preparing you for great things.

Prayer: Father, You are a good God and I have to admit, my faith is being tested and You are teaching me how to be patient. It is hard, yet it is doing an invaluable work in my life. It’s humbling me. You are God and You know what’s best for me. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
