“Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever!” Psalm 106:1, Amplified.
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth: Psalm 34:1, Amplified.
If He was good before, He will be good again. Your past isn’t all the goodness you are ordained to see, but He’s being good to you now and will be in the days to come. You may not know how or it may be in a way you didn’t notice, but His goodness is surrounding you right now. Look forward to as for certain and expect something good from God!
This is the reason the psalmist declares to keep praise on your lips. The understanding that He’s good will keep you in a place of thanksgiving and appreciation, in spite of what you experience.
Even in this hour, it seems like the devil is going to win, but the Lord is strong and masterfully at work for you, and will show up with goodness in His hands.
Prayer: Father, You are good! Because You are always good, I praise You Lord and I thank You! Your love abounds toward me! You have been good and you will continue to be good to me. Help me to expect Your goodness in my life. Let my faith stand on this mighty truth. You will bless me. You will provide. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
