“Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward-to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back. So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us” Philippians 3:13-14, MSG.
Pray this with me today: Father, I praise You and there is no one like You. Cause me to run for You. Ignite a fire and excitement in me to go after what You have for me. Make me to run after Jesus like I never have before. Let no shackles or chains hold me down. Let it even blow my own mind how I begin to pursue You more, pursue Your calling more.
Help me to trust You there is greatness in me. I am a great man fashioned by a great God. I feel You cheering me on. I will get better and I will go higher! Rest on me Holy Spirit and help me to run in such way that I obtain the prize–the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. As I pray, let Your grace flow into my life. Empower me to run fearlessly and unashamed. Empower me to press. Help me to not to look back on the past because it only will slow me down. I’m going forward. Help me to remain focused on Your plan for me and I thank You for causing me to run for You. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
