He will never fail to show you what to do.

September 13, 2018

“If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought…” James 1:5-6, Message Bible.

I’ve been in times where I just didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what decision to make or where to turn in my life. There has also been times when although I have known what to do, I didn’t know how or when God wanted me to do it.

If God can tell Noah how to build an ark, if He can give David wisdom on how to defeat his enemies, if the Lord can tell Esther what to say and do before the king to save her people, if He can tell Joshua how to bring down the mighty walls of Jericho, if Jesus can reveal to Peter that there was money in the mouth of a fish, an impartial God can and will show you what to do also.

He doesn’t charge for wisdom. It is free for any man in need of it and, the Father loves to provide it. Continue to seek God and don’t quit on receiving the wisdom He freely gives. Sometimes it’s wise to step away from your very environment and seek to hear Him. No matter the pressure, complexity of your situation or decision, there will never be a time that He will fail to show you what to do.

Prayer: Father God, I thank You that You are not a partial God and You freely give the best wisdom. If You showed many in Your word what to do, You will show me what to do also. I will not worry, but believe. I humble myself before You and acknowledge that You know me better than myself. I sincerely want to know Your wisdom for my life. As I lift it all before You, I ask for wisdom and direction on what to do. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!
