“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony” Hebrews 11:1-2, NKJV.
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Romans 10:17, NKJV.
If faith was a car, it is what you must use to arrive at every destination God has for your life. I’ve looked for other ways to step into the will of God for my life. I’ve tried to search for another route, but I say humbly–I have found none, and you won’t either.
Your faith is required to get into God’s will. Your faith is required to become the man He has ordained you to be.
Since faith in God is required, then it is absolutely vital to get more of it. If you want more faith in your life, God’s word is what will bring it into your life. His word is like a seed you allow the Lord to plant in the good ground of your heart. It will increase your faith. The more you hear God, the more faith will come.
Before you read the word of God, consider what you are believing Him for and locate those scriptures. Think on them, think on what He has spoken about this year and watch you will begin to respond in faith to God. Watch you begin to respond in faith to His Spirit when He leads you to do something. The Father needs a faith response from you so He can bring His plans for you to pass!
Prayer: Father, I praise You for all You have done. This year, You have said You will do great things in my life. I ask that You get me there by faith. Teach me how to give time to hearing Your word. The moment I hear Your word, let faith become stronger. As You lead me by Your Spirit, help me to have a response of faith and obey You, most of all in how I live. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
