A Man of Courage

July 7, 2018

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” Isaiah 41:10, NLT.

As strong as men appear on the outside, some of us are afraid on the inside. We’ve been afraid for different reasons. Some of us have been told we can’t do anything, won’t be anything and have been deeply discouraged. Some of us failed before and now we don’t dream anymore. We then settle for what’s comfortable in God and avoid the decisions that require stepping out in faith. No matter the reason, we’re stuck and need help overcoming it.

God wants you to let Him in. Let Him into those deep, masked areas so He can minister to you and plant His truth in you. Some decisions you are going to have make in order to follow God, while you face fear, but that’s courage. He is with you. He will strengthen you. He will help you. He is going to hold you up with His victorious right hand! He will heal your hurt and establish who you are–a man of courage.

Let God bring permanent change to the man behind the muscles. He wants to give you real strength, real courage, real freedom.

Prayer: God, as strong as I appear, I am hurt inside. I am afraid inside, but no more. I surrender and let You in. I choose to believe that You are with me, and I receive Your word over my life. I can make the decisions needed to walk in Your plan for my life. I thank You for making me a man of courage! Glory to God! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
