You Have a Measure of Faith!

November 10, 2017

“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith” Romans 12:3, NKJV.

We all have been given a measure of faith. It is a matter of who, or what, we are putting our faith in. Faith makes room for God. It gives Him the opportunity to get involved in your situation any time you decide to put faith in Him.

I don’t gamble, but if God was in a horse race, I would put my money–my faith–on Him every single time and watch Him win. He will win for you and through you every time you believe on Him. We’re not gambling when we believe Him, but it can feel that way because we physically can’t see Him. However, we can’t see the air we breath either, yet we have faith that it’s there and we use it. We see it’s affects, as we breath it in and out. We see its’ results because we continue to live.

Physically we live by air; spiritually we live by faith. Not faith in man, companies, outcomes, possessions, or conditions, but we live by faith in God. The more of His Word will receive, the greater our measure of faith becomes to believe.

Take the same faith you use to believe your company will give you a paycheck at the end of the week, and even the faith in the chair you believe will hold you up when you sit down, and confidently put it in the Lord!!!

Prayer: Father, thank You for giving me a measure of faith. Whether I realize or not, I am using faith every day. I ask now that You help me redirect my faith toward You. Increase my faith as I think on Your Word today. Even in my current circumstance, show me how to use my faith and produce the joy I need in my life. You are a mighty God and choose to believe what You say. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!
