What are you sowing?

May 21, 2019

“Don’t be misled; remember that you can’t ignore God and get away with it: a man will always reap just the kind of crop he sows! If he sows to please his own wrong desires, he will be planting seeds of evil and he will surely reap a harvest of spiritual decay and death; but if he plants the good things of the Spirit, he will reap the everlasting life that the Holy Spirit gives him” Galatians 6:7-8, The Living Bible.

Within every decision, the law of sowing and reaping is active. If you sow time into God’s Word and in prayer, you will reap power and victory for your day. Within your marriage, if you sow love, you’ll get some loving. If you sow words that support and nourish your wife, you’ll reap the building up of your marriage. But if you sow control and disrespect, you’ll reap aggravation and her rolling neck. If you sow into the Spirit mercy, love and truth, you’ll reap the the eternal things which last.

Consider what you sow, because it will produce after its’ kind. God desires for you to reap His fullness, His abundance and every good thing He has for you. Your harvest will always be greater than the seed you sow. Submit to the Lord and sow the right kind of seed today.

Prayer: Father, thank You for helping me to understand this spiritual law. From my decisions in my calling and my marriage, to what I pour into my children, help me sow what pleases You today. I thank You for reaping a great harvest in my life because I sow the right seed. I receive it now! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
