Use what’s in your hands to prosper.

October 16, 2019

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change” James 1:17, ESV.

We all have a variety of gifts and talents in our hands, which each one of them is like a mighty seed from God. He doesn’t give them to us looking like their fruit. They don’t appear like anything you’ll be able to eat from. However, if you will trust God and believe in what He has put in you, it will turn out to be something that you’ll find to be your ministry, bring you joy and will prosper your life. It’s our sole responsibility to focus on giving ourselves wholly to our gifts, but always leave the increase to God.

Remember my brother, your gifts and talents are from the Lord, ordained and predestined to work. Like a car, God didn’t give you a lemon. Every good and perfect gift is from above, and the Lord has given you an awesome level of gifting to be used to prosper your household. Most of all, to do good in the earth for His glory. Whether you can manage people, repair, sale, good with numbers, you’re athletic, can teach, minister, sing, or build things, use what He put in your hands.

Prayer: Father, I thank You. I see what You put in my hands and I’m going to use it in a mighty way. You don’t make lemons. My gifts are just as good and as powerful as any other man. Enough with any second-guessing. This is what I’m good at. This is my passion. I receive Your help to focus and use my gifts for Your glory and to do good in the earth. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
