Through the Will of God

September 2, 2018

“Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother” 1 Corinthians 1:1, KJV.

The most important aspect of this scripture is not that Paul said he was an apostle. It isn’t even that he was called of Jesus Christ. The most invaluable insight here is that he was who he was through the will of God. As Paul became who was called to be through the will of God–so will you.

You are not a happen-stance. You can receive that your calling is God’s will for you because God has designed and fully equipped you to do it. You can operate in your calling with a strong confidence when you understand, before you were even conceived in your mother’s womb, it was His will for you. It is established, never to be revoked, altered, stripped away, or changed.

As you pursue to walk out your calling each day, be assured that God is with you. No matter the obstacle, you are not alone. His love and grace are backing you. His favor is backing you. His will is backing you. You can operate in authority because He made you, He put you exactly where your are, and no weapon will prosper against you because of His plan for you!

I know of no one that can turn the will of God from you. I know of no mistake that can turn the will of God from you. He has authored it and He will help you finish your specific assignment in the earth. You will be who you are called to be through the will of God.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the truth of Your Word. Show me what You have called me to do. Show me Your will for my life. Through Your will, I am blessed and graced to do what You called me to do. I declare I am called and through the will of God, I won’t be stopped. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
