“When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations,’The Lord has done great things for them.’ The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad” Psalm 126:1-3, NKJV.
Israel had been captive in Babylon for so long when God brought them out, it was like they were dreaming. The Message Bible says the first verse like this: “It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Zion’s exiles. We laughed, we sang, we couldn’t believe our good fortune. We were the talk of the nations—’God was wonderful to them!’ God was wonderful to us; we are one happy people.”
I don’t know how long you’ve been where you are, but no more. This year will be a year of dreams for you. A year where your dreams from God will come true. A dream is a cherished aspiration, a strongly desired goal or purpose, to consider a possibility, or something that fully satisfies a wish. The dreams for becoming the man God has called you to be, the dreams for your ministry, your family, your finances, your restoration, and your relationships, will come true. There will even be places you have dreamed about seeing that you’ll see this year.
You will laugh in victory this year at how God restores you. You will have prophetic dreams. There will be many first times for you this year, and what God does in your life, many will look and say just like Israel, the Lord has done great things for them. Glory to God!
