“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Matthew 1:23, NKJV
This time, this moment that we abundantly enjoy every year is very special. The love, peace and joy that fills our God, fills the entire earth. It cannot be contained. With the exalting of Jesus Christ, the Father pours out everything He is, and man, whether saved or not, is witness to what happens when God gives His greatest gift.
His greatest gift to us is Jesus Christ. He is God’s best gift, to be with us and to never leave. Remember that He is truly the reason that we can come together and we experience the outpouring of love that we do in this season. He was born for you, died for you and rose for you! He came that you might life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Appreciate God’s gift to you, which nothing can compare to the overflowing, wonderful, life-changing, eternal gift of Jesus. Share the greatest gift of Jesus Christ with someone today.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your holy gift to us–Jesus Christ, our Lord and King. We exalt You! Everything we experience in this season is because You gave the greatest gift, Your Son to be with us and to save us. Help me to be thankful even beyond this season that Jesus was born for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
