“And the evil spirit answered and said, ‘Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?'” Acts19:15, NKJV.
The evil spirit said Jesus I know, Paul I know, but who are you? The sons of Sceva didn’t have Jesus. They talked to the demon without any delegated authority trying to cast the evil spirit out of a man. They tried to walk in someone else’s authority, not their own, and got trampled over. An evil spirit will be bold, bombard your mind, try to control you, and try to do the same thing against us. It will try to test you and see do you really know who you are.
Jesus it knows, Paul it knows, but have you let that evil spirit know you yet? It’s time to let it know you. It’s time to be free of anything that is binding you. Step into your authority. Refuse to be a man backed up in fear, but to back that evil spirit up by faith. A stronger Man has come, Jesus Christ, and He lives in you!
If there is an evil spirit operating in your life of any kind, it has no right to rule you. It has no right to torment you. Jesus said when He cast out demons by the Spirit of God, that means the kingdom of God has come upon you. The kingdom has come upon you and Jesus reigns!
If you don’t know Jesus, ask Him to come into your heart and drive any evil spirit out of your life by His mighty Spirit, so you can live the life God has promised you.
Prayer: In Jesus’ name I call that evil spirit out now by the authority of Jesus, and I command you to leave my life! I know who I am and whom the Son sets free is free indeed! You will govern my life no longer and I declare peace. I have the Spirit of God dwelling in me and the kingdom of God has come. Help me Father to always walk in my authority over evil spirits trying to operate in my life. In Jesus’ name, hallelujah! Amen!
