Right Now

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable” Romans 11:29, NKJV.

Yesterday, I had a computer issue at work, and I submitted an IT request ticket asking for help. The IT guy received the ticket and called me, but I wasn’t at my desk, and I missed his call. He then e-mailed me, saying I missed his call. He then asked when would be a good time to reach me? I responded you can call me right now, and he did.

Maybe you have felt like the Lord called you in the past to something. He gave you a dream from Him. For whatever reason, you didn’t obey Him back then, and it can feel like you missed your call. Yet, in His mercy, goodness, and faithfulness, He is calling you again and saying what you didn’t do back then, I still want You do it, and it’s right now. He says the time is right now.

As for all of us, at the appointed time, He will bring back the dreams, the calling, and assignments before us again. You didn’t obey God back then, but be encouraged to obey God right now.

Prayer: Father, You’ve brought some things You’ve called me to back before me. You’re saying right now is the time. My gifts and calling won’t change, and I praise You for that. I didn’t do it then, but I receive Your help to obey You now–right now. As I obey You, things will change right now. As I obey You, usher me completely into Your purpose and plan for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
