Plant yourself by the river of His Word.

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalm 1:2-3, NKJV

A tree cannot survive without water. But when planted by it, a tree will thrive and bear tremendous fruit. You are a tree of righteousness, and in these times, it is vital to plant yourself by the river of God’s Word. Do not underestimate its’ power. Within His Word, God has something to say to meet every need you have. It will also be a place to draw comfort, courage and faith.

God framed the world with it. Jesus fought with it. He healed with it. His Word has the power to keep us prospering. It doesn’t mean we won’t go through anything, but God’s Word will sustain you, counsel you and feed you through it.

Confession: God’s Word is powerful. I am a tree of righteousness and I will plant myself by the river of His Word. It flows with guidance and sustenance. It flows with strength. I will thrive in these times because I fill my heart with what He says. I fill my mind with how He says. I speak His Word only. His Word will provide counsel for every situation in my life. I will act on His Word and prosper!
