“Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free. The Lord is on my side…” Psalm 118:5-6a, ESV.
Can I ask you a question. If God Himself was going through what you are experiencing, do you believe that He could get through it? You may say yes He would. Nothing’s too hard for God. He would obliterate it. He would make the right decision. He would handle it with no problem. He would definitely make it.
Why can’t you?
The One you believe would make it, is the same One that is on your side. You can make it too. It’s never just our situation or trial. It’s never just our marriage problem. It’s never only our fight of faith, or our journey in this life alone. It’s His. The Spirit of God is in you. Jesus said he is always with us, even in the valley. He helps us handle it like He would. The same grace that He has, He has given you and it is very sufficient. It is more than enough for not only strength, but for comfort and triumph.
Don’t stop believing. You can make it–and you will.
Prayer: Father, I really needed this. Sometimes things can get hard, but if You can get through it, I can too. If You can make it, I can too. I say in faith to You–You are on my side. Help me to handle what I’m going through just like You would. Give me the grace that I need, and through Christ, I will live for You and obey You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
