Obey and He will make a way!

December 18, 2016

“Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, the water from upstream stopped flowing…” Joshua 3:15-16, NIV.

Today I am so thankful to serve an almighty God. A God Who makes the impossible possible. When the Israelites crossed the Jordan river into the promised land, they did so on dry ground. As they obeyed and put their feet in the Jordan, God stopped the flow of the river, even in its’ flood time.

Brother, the same way God demonstrated His power in Israelites, He will do the same in yours. The key is obedience. Hearing God’s voice and doing what He says without delay is key to experiencing Him making a way. If He tells us to turn right and there you will find the way I’ve made, but you say God I turned left, where is it? You cannot expect to receive what He has for you. If you obey, He will make a way.

If you ask the Lord to reveal His will to You, it will be done (Matt 7:7), and when you decide to walk in it, just as the Israelites, there will be no obstacle impossible that you cannot cross. They will be cast into the seas.

Prayer: Father, thank you for adding Your strength to my life and carrying me on Your wings. Thank You that I can ask and it WILL be given. I ask to hear You voice and I as obey, you will make a way. Thank You for eradicating every obstacle and enemy before me. Bless and fortify my brothers and let none of the glory be visited upon us, for all the glory is Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Scripture reading: Joshua 3:1-17; Deuteronomy 11:1, Isaiah 43:19
