“Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ ” Philippians 3:8, NKJV.
I don’t need of more of me in my life. I have seen what more of me can do. It comes to a point in your life as a man, that you realize what you need. It’s more of Him.
Desire more of His will and His word. Desire more of His love. Desire more of His counsel. Want more of His results in your life. There’s wisdom that only He can provide you. There’s valleys that only Jesus can carry you across. There are fears that only He can get you beyond. There are walls that only He can breakthrough.
Come to the end of having more of you. You’ve found that you can only do so much, you can only reach so far, you only have so much ability. Count everything else rubbish in comparison to Jesus Christ. Desire more of Him.
Prayer: Father, thank You that You say I can ask and I will receive. I want more of You in my life. You are ultimately Who can shape me. Help me to spend time in Your word like I never have before. I want more of Your will, more of Your plan, more of Your results and more of Your change in me. Help me let go of it all and desire more of You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
