Are you tight with your money?

February 19, 2017

“There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty” Proverbs 11:24, NKJV.

As men, we are quietly being attacked right now in the area of giving, to be tight with money and to withhold our finances from advancing the kingdom. With a closed hand, we can’t receive any more than what you have in it. An open hand will receive far more from God. An open hand can help far more people in need. An open hand will be free in scattering their seed, doing what God says, and then, always experiences great increase coming back to him.

The devil wants to use fear of the world system to close our hands and heart from giving, and undermine the financial state of the church. He is also causing some who don’t believe we are under the law to tithe, but giving, now have a closed hand, are on the other side of the ditch, and are not giving either. Without the financial resources, he can slow down the work of advancing of the kingdom, hinder people’s needs from being met and your very own increase, your very own blessing from God.

Yet, you are not of this world system, but of a kingdom of a faithful God. We are called to be mighty men of God, leaders in the Body of Christ and our household, allowing nothing to prevent meat from being in the Father’s house. We will not allowing nothing to prevent us from meeting someone’s need and doing good works with our money so people can see God through our shining light.

Obey the Father in this area. The man with an open hand receives more!

Prayer: Father, I have to trust You with my family and my money, even in these times. The devil will not win. You desire to bless me and make me a great blessing in the earth. I will have an open mighty hand to You and advancing Your Kingdom. As You tell me, I will be like the man that scatters and always receives more and more! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
