Make It Count

January 18, 2019

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” Psalm 90:12, KJV.

If someone gave you one year to spend one million dollars, how would you spend it? But if you were given only one day to spend that same million dollars, you would use it an entirely different way. The basis for your wisdom would be you only have one day.

This is the reality God wants to give us regarding life. You only have one. It is but a vapor, a few seconds. It is here one day and gone the next. Before you realize it, this life is going to be over, and you will ask yourself what did you do regarding your walk with Jesus and with all of the things God put in your heart. How did you spend your time with this precious life that God afforded to you?

God has given you His Son, the Holy Spirit, so much potential, gifts, a good wife that has been there for you through it all, children, opportunities, a ministry, a platform to share Jesus Christ, a home, business ideas, great friends, health, purpose, and so much more. Now, number your days and make it all count.

Don’t live life foolishly. Don’t live life stagnant, but wisely. Enjoy it and run for Him!

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Word. As I step back and look at my life, You have given me so much Lord and I thank You. Teach me to number my days and to apply my heart to wisdom. Lead me by Your Spirit. I will not waste this life. With all You have put in my heart, I will run for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
