Leading Your Family Through It

April 20, 2020

“…Be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man. And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;” 1 Kings 2:2-3, NKJV.

“May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children” Psalm 115:14, NKJV.

As the man, you are the head of your home. Be the head of it. You are used by God to be a covering over your wife and your family. Be a covering over them. Take your family by the hand and lead them through this.

If anyone is up early praying, it is you. If anyone is pleading the blood of Jesus, which was shed to redeem and cover us, it is you. If anyone is standing in faith, not fear, it’s you. Christ is your rock, and He lives in you. No matter what comes or what you hear, you have been made a rock also.

Go to the frontline of your family and remain there. Give them counsel, wisdom, and His plans for them. God is good is the life that’s coming from your mouth. Take nothing less than what God’s word says what He will do and what He reveals to you, as He shows you things to come. In these times, be the man.

Prayer: Thank You, Father, for entrusting me with a wife and family. I surrender to Your will to each day rise up and pray, and cover my home. I will stand in faith and not fear. I come against all sickness and disease in Jesus’ name. It always gets brighter for Your people! You are good to us and we are victorious is the life I speak over my family. You are going to abundantly bless us in these times. Help me take my family by the hand, and by the strength of Christ, lead them through this. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
