“Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.” Jeremiah 1:12, Amplified.
You can make a strong commitment to do something, but there is still a possibility, something will come up. Stuff happens out of our control or things happen to keep us from doing what we said we would do. Yet, God is infallible, flawless, holy, just, and faithful. Nothing will come up with Him. He watches over His Word to perform it. Nothing happens outside of His control. He watches over His Word to perform it. He is the only One that can and will always keep His Word to you.
He is not surprised by where you are. He’s not losing it because there’s just too many people praying and He can’t keep up. God isn’t sweating bullets, wondering can He meet your need on time, nor should you be either. He’s not worrying or under any pressure, nor should you either. Choose to rest in the character and faithfulness of the God Whose hands you are completely surrounded in, and He won’t let you down.
Be patient and continue to trust Him. He is unstoppable, and if He said, He will do it!
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your ability to do what You said You will do! Nothing has come up and You are always on time. I will rejoice because You watch over Your Word to perform it. You are active and You will bless me with what I have need of. I choose not to worry today. Help me keep my mind on You and joyfully trust You! I praise You in advance! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
