“The Lord will accomplish that which concerns me; Your [unwavering] lovingkindness, O Lord, endures forever-Do not abandon the works of Your own hands” Psalm 138:8, AMP.
I have been traveling somewhere by following my phone navigation app. As I’m listening to the prompts on when to turn, there have been times when I have missed some turns that I should have made, yet the navigation app would tell me rerouting. Then, it gives me the proper directions to get me back to the road I was on, or even provides new turns to get me to my destination.
You may have had some expectations in life, but it hasn’t turned out as you thought it would. You may have known the will of God for you, yet you’ve missed some turns. Maybe a sudden circumstance occurred and you shook you to the core. However, don’t worry. God is rerouting you. Like a navigation system, God is rerouting you to get you to His destination for your life.
Keep following His instructions and have faith in the mighty sovereignty of God and His mercy. He is taking you there and He will bring His plans to pass.
Prayer: Father, thank You that You are rerouting me. I have been through some stuff, even made some decision I am not happy that I made. However, I thank You for Your goodness and mercy, and I trust You are leading me where I need to be. Help me to continue to yield and follow You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
