God is Rerouting You

June 29, 2018

“The Lord will accomplish that which concerns me; Your [unwavering] lovingkindness, O Lord, endures forever-Do not abandon the works of Your own hands” Psalm 138:8, AMP.

Have you ever been traveling somewhere using a navigation system and you miss your turn? What you’ll find is that the system will immediately say “rerouting”.

You may have had some expectations about your life, but it hasn’t turned out as you thought. You may have known the will of God and His plan for you, yet as we all have, you missed some turns. But don’t worry. God is rerouting you. Like a navigation system, God will give you the proper directions to get you back to the road you were on, or provide new turns to get you to His destination for your life.

His perfect will is not behind you–it’s ahead of you. Continue making your turns, obeying Him with patience and have faith in the mighty sovereignty of God. He will get you there!

Prayer: Father, thank You for encouraging me today. Even though I made some wrong turns in my life, I trust You to reroute me. Your goodness and mercy follows me all the days of my life. Help me to keep being lead by You. I praise You now for bringing it to pass! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Right on time. Needed this word.
This exact thing happen to me in the literal but spiritual sense. I was led to listen to GOD for directions to a specific destination as I drove. He told me to make at least two turns that I was obedient to. After got to the destination longer than it should have taken due to not heeding the word of GOD, I realized those two streets were close to where I needed to get to. I beat myself up because of the gas wasted and not being obedient while asking for Forgiveness. Then my prayer changed to help me not to dwell too long on the mistaken and just move forward in GOD.
THANK YOU for the word today.
