“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You” Isaiah 26:3, NKJV.
“But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” John 4:14, NKJV.
I was on my way home from work yesterday, and I was still singing a song I had been singing since my lunch. I was spending time with the Lord and I had this perfect peace. I had a joy that I wanted to tell everyone about. I experienced the love of God that let’s you know everything is alright. I wanted to put it in a bottle and give away what I had been experiencing. It truly felt like heaven.
Then, God spoke.
Do you know what having Jesus is like? It’s like having heaven in your heart. Christ in you is your perfection and has made you whole and free. He’s made you righteous. He’s not only your Peace, He is your perfect peace. He is your unspeakable joy. He brings a perfect perspective on life, and you see what it’s really all about. He is your heaven and the Lord says when you dwell in Him, there are no worries. When you dwell in him, nothing can shake you.
