“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Matthew 22:39, KJV
Two things Jesus did: He hung around His Father God and He hung around people. He spent time with God and He spent time with people. When you hang around God, He can affect you. When you hang around people, you can affect them. The same God that affected you, that influenced you, impacted your life, your plans and direction, will be the same God that affects those around you.
This is the love of God.
Take time and hang around some young guys that could use godly wisdom. They will appreciate the love. Go to lunch with your co-worker and be a friend. Open your life and make room for others. God wants to bless you and use you to bless others.
Confession: I hang around God and He speaks to me. I hang around God and I am flooded with encouragement that I can do it. I hang around God and He empowers me. I have seen God change my life. I will hang around people and allow God to change theirs. I will spend time with people and watch God encourage them. People are the heartbeat of God and I decide to make them mine.
