“My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net” Psalms 25:15, ESV.
In life, it can be easy to have our eyes fixed on the problem because they are right before us. It’s so easy to look at the situation and become depressed, discouraged and feel as though there’s no hope.
Keep your eyes on Jesus. The devil wants to use your current situation to distract your eyes from looking unto God. He wants to distract your ears from being set on hearing God, because if you can hear God, He will guide you. If you set your ears on hearing God, you will hear His voice.
Don’t focus on the problem. Fix your eyes on Jesus and you will see everything that He’s given you and all of the promises He has made.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Word. I’m not looking at the problem. My eyes are on You. My eyes are on how awesome You are. My eyes are on how faithful You are. You are almighty and there is none like You. My mind is set on Your Word. My ears are set on listening to what You say about my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
