Confident in this–He’s not done with you.

November 27, 2016

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:6, KJV.

Confidence will keep you going. Confidence will keep you in the ring. Confidence will keep you pressing forward. You can be confident that God isn’t done with you. He will never leave nor forsake you. You’re not like a car that has too many issues, too much to fix and God says I’m leaving you where you are. You have messed up too many times, and you are beyond what I am willing to do. It’s never over when you’re in His hands.

God says you are My son, and I will perform what I begun in you. I will finish what I am doing in your life. He is faithful that called you. God never sleeps nor slumbers. Night and day, the Lord your God is doing a good work in you. You can be confident of that. Whether you feel like He’s close or you feel like your last sin, don’t let go of your confidence toward Him. Keep pursuing the Lord. Hold you head up in confidence as a son to a father — He is not done with you!

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your love and faithfulness. Thank You that I can always be confident of the good work You have begun in me. You will perform it until the day Jesus Christ. I am before you and I gladly say keep working on me Lord. Thank You for continually working on me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Study: Psalm 121:4; 1 Thessalonians 5:24, Hebrews 10:35
