“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” 1 Peter 2:9, NKJV.
For some of us, it’s not that we don’t want do God’s will, but we go back and forth on whether you believe God has called you to do this or that. It puts you in a place of indecision where you can even feel like you’re stuck and you can’t go any further until you have the clarity you need. You feel like you need that confirmation from Him. You need affirmation from Him.
I believe that’s what God is going to do this year. He’s going to settle it. He’s going to settle that calling. He’s going settle that purpose. This is who you are and this is your calling. This is your assignment. That is one way that God will fulfill His word of a year of new things and permanent change.
He’s going to do that in you. Something’s going to break off of you and you are going to get the release you need. You will find yourself feeling free. You will find yourself feeling like a new man because you know who you are now. You can run now.
I encourage you when it happens, memorialize it. Seal it. Memorialize that testimony so it’s a future reminder, so it’s an encouragement to others and you as well.
Prayer: Father, thank You for this year of new things and a year of permanent change. I receive clarity from You. I receive confirmation of my calling. I receive affirmation from You regarding who I am and Your direction for me. No more going back and forth. You will help me to be all I was created to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
