Stay connected.

November 3, 2025

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” John 15:5, NKJV.

When a baby is born, it immediately cries for its mother. They desire to stay connected, just as in the womb, knowing where everything–their food and protection comes from.

We may be grown men, but we must stay connected to Jesus and learn the discipline of abiding in Him. It extends beyond spending time with the Lord in the morning. Apart from Christ, we can do nothing. We don’t know what to do or where to go without Him. By His Spirit, He’ll lead and guide you in these times. When you live connected to Jesus, when things happen, you won’t be shaken.

Pray and praise in the morning, yet continue to pray and give God thanks throughout the day. Abide in His word in the morning, yet continue to let Him teach you. Acknowledge the Lord in your decisions so He can tell you what to do and then trust and obey Him. These are small keys that will help you abide in Him.

Prayer: Thank you, Jesus, that You’re all I need. I ask for the grace to abide in You, and Your word dwells in me today. May being led become how I live. Because I dwell in you, even in these times, I will not be shaken. You will provide, and I will live a strong, fruitful life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
