Let patience have it’s perfect work.

May 30, 2020

“But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” James 1:4, NKJV.

Sometimes, we wonder why God hasn’t moved, why something hasn’t happened, or when will God cause you to get beyond a trial. Sometimes, He is simply shaping patience in you. It may not feel good at the moment, but when patience is complete, you won’t lack the perfect will of God in your life.

Like being in one room in your home, know that God is in another, working on something needful in you and for you that you may not be aware of. The Father is forming Christ in you where you need Him to be formed. He is preparing the best wife for you that you are unaware of–and preparing you. He is opening doors for you that you’re unaware of. He is working on blessing you with something far better and eternal than you can ask or think of. He is building and preparing you for great things.

Prayer: Father, You are a good God and I have to admit, my faith is being tested and You are teaching me how to be patient. It’s tough, yet it is doing an invaluable work in me. It’s humbling me. You are God and You know what’s best for me. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
