It’s not the time to condemn them.

July 19, 2020

“When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, ‘Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?’ She said, ‘No one, Lord.’ And Jesus said to her, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.’” John 8:10-11, NKJV.

You will notice the only One that could have condemned the prostitute was still there. But He didn’t. The One who could rightfully accuse sent all her accusers away.

You can choose to be like the accusers, or you can be like Jesus. People are desiring to see Jesus right now. Stoop down like Jesus, get into their dirt, and allow Christ to extend the grace, forgiveness, and love found in Him.

Be careful not the condemn the stripper. Be careful not to condemn the man that’s doing what’s illegal to feed his family, the fornicator, the drunk cousin, or anyone that isn’t living the way you think they should be living. It will keep you from loving them, when love is what they need the most. This is the love that will cause someone to go and sin no more.

Prayer: Father, I give You all the honor, praise, and glory. I thank You for helping me not to condemn people, but to love people. Forgive me if I’ve been condemning, or have been an accuser in my heart. Help me to reach others with grace. They need Jesus and the love that’s found in Him. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
