“To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified” Isaiah 61:3, NKJV.
In sports, when a team is down in a series 3-0 or down with seconds left in the game, the whole world will count them out. Everyone says it’s over. Sometimes, in life, things can feel that way.
But it’s great to know that you may can count out man, but you can never count out God. No matter what the devil says in your ear, you are never counted out with the Lord on your side. With God, it’s never over, and the best is yet to come. He takes what is nothing, and makes something good out of it. He takes what appears dead and makes things alive. You will rise from this situation better, wiser, and blessed.
Sometimes, He will allow you to be uprooted, but He will plant you in a place far better than you were. Your turn around will be so great, that you know only He can get the glory. You will look back and only be able to say only God could have done this in your life. It’s never over for the man that will trust in Him.
Prayer: Father, You are good and You are awesome. I will not count You out. I declare it’s not over and the best IS yet to come because You are on my side. I even say by faith my best is now. Steer me during this time. Help me to obey and keep trusting You because it’s not over. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
