“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold” Psalm 18:2, NKJV.
There is one attribute about a fortress that is so powerful. It keeps an enemy outside, and it holds, it stores everything you need on the inside. The Lord is interested in keeping you having joy on the inside. Peace on the inside. Strength and faith on the inside. Outward circumstances may come, but God, your Rock and your fortress, won’t allow them to disturb your freedom in Him. He won’t allow the enemy to disturb your ability to hear His voice and to be led by Him in this hour. Free from worry. Free from fear that your enemy will steal the provision God has promised you.
Prayer: Father, thank You for being my mighty fortress. I thank You that no matter what happens on the outside, You are keeping me with joy and peace on the inside. Contentment on the inside. Faith on the inside. Christ lives in me, and You are my strength. Nothing can keep me from hearing and being led by You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
