He is the Spirit and He lives in me

February 24, 2018

“Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” 2 Corinthians 3:16-17, NKJV.

Did you know that the Lord Jesus is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit living in you is the very Spirit of the Lord. The one that speaks to you, guides you, strengthens, leads, and comforts you is Jesus himself. He lives in us by his Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. How is that? It is because the Spirit is the Lord in us, and where Jesus is, there is freedom.

We are closer, much closer to Jesus then we realize. We are walking with him each and every day. The redemptive work of Christ has made us free from the guilt of sin and made us to stand as righteous before the Father. Wherever you are, whatever situation you face, whatever mountain before you to climb, you are free–so be free.

Let nothing keep the mercy & grace of God from pouring out in your life and let nothing keep you from partaking of the liberating joy of the salvation you have in Christ. Since you have Jesus, everything is going to be alright, because He already made it alright. He is helping us through His Spirit to continually be transformed from glory to glory into His likeness. It is a work being done in us far beyond glorious, and Jesus confirms it by the Spirit is with you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Jesus. Thank You according to Your word that Jesus IS the Spirit. Wow! By the Spirit, Jesus lives in me. There’s nothing I can’t overcome with Jesus in me. Give me more revelation that the Lord is the Spirit and I am free. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
