God is love.

“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” 1 John 4:8, NKJV.

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love” Galatians 5:6, NKJV.

If your son has any kind of need, the first thing you want him to really know is not how much money you have in the bank. He doesn’t even need to know that you are the president of a company and you have volumes of accolades. The very first thing you want him to be grounded in knowing in his time of need is that you simply love him. Because by this truth, your son will know you will aid him, will be there and there’s nothing you won’t do for him, even if it even costs you.

You are God’s son and the first thing God wants you to receive is that He loves you. He IS love. He is not evil. He sent Jesus, not to show His strength or to get glory, but to say He loves you. He sent one son to save another. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve messed up, it doesn’t matter how broken we may feel, it doesn’t matter what you’re going through, His love is the same as when Jesus died for us.

As you think on the revelation of His great love for you, allow it to help you to have faith in His word. You can say I see the peril in the earth all around me, but God loves me. You can stand and believe He will move for you. He will meet your need.

Prayer: Father, there is nothing you won’t do for me your son. Nothing. Whether I feel it or not, you love me. I thank You that You will always meet my need. Help me to receive the revelation to the core of me that You love me, and even share it with others. Let it be applied in all I do and cause it the spark great faith in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
