Do It With All Your Heart

July 9, 2020

“Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered” 2 Chronicles 31:20-21, NKJV.

Hezekiah did what he did for God with all of his heart and prospered. Whatever calling by God is in your heart, do it with all of your heart. If you sing, do it with all of your heart. If you are a dentist, build smiles with all of your heart. If you are a business owner, strive to give the best service with integrity with all of your heart. Ministry may be your calling and God wants you to put all your heart into it. Honor the Lord to the utmost in all you do. Do it as if Jesus was doing it himself, as ministry, as service to one another.

Be encouraged to press beyond everything happening around you, and focus on Who you do it for. You love God and desire to please Him. You love people and you desire to make a difference. Give Him all that you have for the glory of God. As the Father did with Hezekiah, so He will do with you–He will prosper you.

Prayer: Father, I will do what You’ve called me to with all of my heart. I have a God to serve and glorify! Help me to remain focused on serving You and loving others. As I seek You and do it with all my heart, You will prosper me. I praise You for it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
