“For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!” Romans 8:18, Amplified.
Jesus paid a dear price on the cross to save us. He suffered but rose with all power and glory in His hands. He went through a lot, but he remembered it was worth it.
Yes, you are a man. Yes, you will have to make sacrifices at this critical juncture in your life. Some things, some areas in your life, you may have to completely give up, so that the man in you can come out of you. A dear price will be paid, but remember it’s worth it. The Lord is doing great things. The glory of God, the manifestation of who God created you to be, is worth it. You are treasure-filled, and the great treasure within you and the people the Lord reaches through you is worth it.
Prayer: Thank you, Father, for speaking to me. This is where I am. When it gets tough or when you ask for my surrender, help me to remember that it’s worth it. Help me to remain focused on seeking you. Great things are being birthed in and through me. Pour out your grace and be glorified in me. Birth the man you’ve called me to be and the purpose you created me to fulfill. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
