Can you imagine news reporters and commentators running up to you saying, “Wow, you did it! What a race! What a victory!” Cameras are flashing as they throw the ribbon around you. They put the crown on your head. Thousands of people are cheering in awe of the magnificent victory you have. Confetti is falling from everywhere. You ask, “What did I do?” The commentator responds, “What did you do? You won!” The crowd goes wild.
They ask you to pose for the camera. Now pose for the magazine cover! Also, they stick a paperboard million dollar check in your hand and says thanks for winning! The cheers erupt again and again and again. In your heart, you are saying I did nothing to receive this. This is what Jesus did for you. Because He did it, you can do it. Let your joy be full today because no matter what you face, He gave you the victory.
Confession: Father I thank You for the victory I have in Jesus Christ. He did what I could not do myself. I now have salvation, forgiveness, grace, abundant life, authority, and more. I receive that I am a winner. I am more than a conqueror. Because He did it, I can do all things through Him. My joy overflows today! I have the victory! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
