Recognize His Grace

August 27, 2019

“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me” 1 Corinthians 15:10, ESV.

I was asking God to help me get something completed one night and I was very tired. For some reason I woke up early the next morning awake with strength. I felt good and rested, and I wondered how could this be? Then the Holy Spirit said, “You asked for My help. Now, you can get up and finish your project, or you can remain in bed. The choice is up to you, but I’m supplying you with the grace to do it.”

It was tough because the bed felt very good. I laid in bed for a moment, deciding to cooperate with the grace or not. Then, I got up and finished my work.

Recognize when His grace is operating and moving in your life. The Lord will answer your prayers and lead You by way of the grace He provides. The Lord will answer you by supplying His strength to do His will. He will give you the words to boldly say. He will even move on your heart with His love to respond to your wife. When He moves, be encouraged to yield and move humbly with Him, because His grace will be more than enough, but the choice to obey will still be up to you.

Prayer: Father, I give praise for waking me up today. You are a good God! Help me to recognize when Your grace is at work. Help this man to learn to function and flow with Your grace. Your grace is sufficient and abounds toward my life. I thank You for even the help to obey You also. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
