You Have a Measure of Faith

March 19, 2019

“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith” Romans 12:3, NKJV.

We all have been given a measure of faith. It is a matter of who, or what, we are putting our faith in. Faith makes room for God. It gives Him the opportunity to get involved in your situation any time you decide to put faith in Him.

There’s no risk when we believe Him, but it can feel that way because we physically can’t see Him. Yet, take the same faith you use to believe your company will give you a paycheck at the end of the week, that your car will work when you turn the key, and even the same faith in the chair you believe will hold you up when you sit down, and confidently put it in the Lord. Even when you don’t understand why, keep your faith in a faithful God.

The more of His word you receive, the greater your measure of faith becomes to believe.

Prayer: Father, thank You for giving me a measure of faith. Whether I realize or not, I am using faith every day. I ask now that You help me redirect my faith toward You. Increase my faith as I think on Your mighty word today. Even in the circumstance I’m facing, show me how to use my faith and have the joy I need in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

Study: Romans 1:17 and 10:17, Psalms 146:3, Proverbs 30:5
