“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” Ephesians 2:10, NKJV.
I have been given suits before. Most of the time, the coat sleeves were too long, or the pants were too short. However, I have been given nice, quality suits that fit me perfectly. It was as if the suit was designed just for me.
Whatever your life use to be, whatever lifestyle that use to bring you pain, whatever you have been through, God has newly-designed you. You are now His workmanship. Once you received Jesus Christ, old things have passed away and all things have become new (2 Cor. 5:17). God’s new design for us is toward good works and we have been ordained, or fitted, in advance for them, like a suit, sized, measured, and tailor-made, just for you.
You are like a mighty tool in His hands. You are a walking blessing and a world changer. All that you are and every gift inside of you was carefully thought of by God for a divine purpose. It is only a matter of God revealing to you the work He has called you to, your reason for living.
Prayer: Thank You Lord that I am Your workmanship in Christ Jesus. You made me new in Christ, and my divine purpose is to do good works wherever I am, beginning now. Ultimately, show me the work you have called me to do. Reveal to me my reason for living. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
