“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” Romans 12:2, NKJV.”
For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” Philippians 2:13, NKJV.
The word “transformed” here in Greek means to literally transform, like a metamorphosis. It’s like a caterpillar changing into a butterfly. It’s like changing a 1957 Buick into a 2020 Bugatti. You’re one way, but then you get God’s mind on living and He completely changes you into another.
You are rising because God is renewing your mind with His Word. He’s taking away Buick thinking, and working in you Bugatti thinking. You don’t have to conform to this world and you are not the same man anymore. You can be who God has called you to be and you can do what God says you can do.
God doesn’t transform us from the outside in. He changes our foundation, the inside, and then we rise! With Christ and His word as your foundation, the man in you is rising. The powerful truth the Father wants us to receive is to cease from laboring to change yourself. Set your faith in the power of His word and let it change you. Let God change you. Keep changing through His word and you will see more of God’s good, acceptable, and perfect will for your life.
Prayer: Father, I praise You! I’m growing and I’m changing. That’s a good thing! I’m doing it Your way. Help me keep Your word as priority in my life. When I give time and think on Your word, cause me to rise above every circumstance. I give up on trying to change myself. I put my faith in Christ. I put my faith in Your word. I will let You keep changing me and I declare I’m going higher and higher! In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
