“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” Matthew 11:28-30, NKJV.
If you hang around a millionaire, it won’t be long before you become one. As you walk with them, they will mold you and teach you all of the disciplines and secrets to obtaining wealth. You will even learn intangibles by observing them, and just by merely being in their presence.
When you decide to be meek and learn from God’s word, you are deciding to walk with Him. When you decide to pray, ask questions and listen to what He has to say as you live, you are walking with Him. You are deciding to come and learn life from the best-Jesus Christ, and the Master will teach you how to handle what is before you and live victorious. His way is easy and light, and You will find a mighty rest for your soul. He will mold you into the man God called you to be. No one can change you like the Lord.
Whatever you may be facing, you don’t have to labor trying to overcome in your own strength. Walk with him. Refuse to live heavy and let him walk you right through it. You will always arrive at His will, His peace, and His prosperity for you.
Prayer: Father, You are God and Creator of all things. You are King, You are love, You are strength, You are wisdom and You are peace. You are all that I need. My desire is to walk and learn from the best–You. Teach me many things today Lord. Disciple me and change me into being more like You. No matter what I face, You will walk with me through it, right into Your victory and blessings for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
