Walk by Blind Faith

March 26, 2019

“For we walk by faith, not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God” Romans 8:14, NKJV.

We walk by faith and not by sight. Turning one way my appear to be the best thing to do, yet it may not be what you’re led to do. As a blind man takes the hand of someone to lead him, so the Lord calls you to be led of Him.

It is as having blind faith. You won’t see the whole picture, but He does. It will not make sense to you, but it makes perfect sense to God. There are times when God will tell you to do something that seems crazy. There are times during your daily living that God will direct you to do something and you don’t understand why you should. All you know is you have a word for God and a leading to do it. There are also times you will feel like you’re jumping out of a plane without a parachute, and if God doesn’t come through, you are going to fall greatly. Yet, in all of these following Christ experiences, are the moments in your life where you will find out just how real, how secure, how faithful, and how good your God is.

What seems foolish to you is wise to God. Be led by the Spirit of God because you are a son of God. His direction is the best wisdom you can live by. Abraham didn’t receive all that God had for him until he obeyed, and by faith, went where God told him to go (Genesis 12:1-3). It was on the other side of his blind faith. How long will you go before you do what He says? There is no telling where your obedience, where your step of faith will lead you to.

Prayer: Father, You are awesome and good! Walking by faith feels like I can’t see, but help me to trust that You can. You know everything I need. As a son, I must learn to be led by Your Spirit. Help me to not lean to my own understanding, but acknowledge and let You direct me. What you have for me is on the other side of my faith. I’m open to hear You now. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
