Through it All, Wait on Him!

September 14, 2019

“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Psalm 27:13-14, ESV.

You don’t have to worry. God is in control and on the throne. He takes care of all of His children, even at the right time.

In His timing, He always will bring the best out of a situation, the best out of you and the greatest blessing to you. He is perfect in regarding the work He performs in us. He is sovereign, and even when it doesn’t appear any good will come out of your test or pain, He brings you through it, and uses it to create the masterpiece of your life.

I have always found God to be faithful to His Word, even when it didn’t look like it. He’s been mighty, even when I had no strength, yet had no idea that He was actually carrying me. I would have given up, except that I knew that He was good. Just know that He is forming Christ in you, and in time, you will understand.

Therefore, wait on the Lord! This isn’t the waiting like sitting in a waiting room dental office. This means to have an expectation of Him. Expect Him to do what He said He will do. Expect Him to keep His covenant. Don’t faint because you will see His goodness toward you. He is a good God. So take courage, and through it all, wait on the Lord!

Prayer: Father, you are good! I’m going through some things, even some pain, but I will trust You! Something awesome will come out of this, even more of Jesus formed in me. I will not faint now because I believe You are a good! I will expect to receive Your best. I choose to take courage and wait on You. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
