“For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:8-9, NKJV
While in prayer, God said to sow into the Spirit. He kept saying over and over again sow into the Spirit. I then asked what does that mean?
To reap the life that comes from the Spirit, what the Holy Spirit has, Who the Holy Spirit is, what He offers, what He reveals, how He empowers, we have to sow into the Spirit. If you give Him your cup, He will fill it. If you sit before the Word of God, He will speak to you and show you mighty things that concern you. If we sow into acknowledging Him, we’ll reap His leading. If you sow into your spiritual growth, you will reap walking in your purpose.
It is time to sow more into the Spirit. It is the key to reaching your purpose and eternal life. It is the key to your growth. It is the key to your self-control. It is the key to peace. It is the key to reaping more God ideas for provision. It is the key to becoming the man that God has called you to be.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Word this morning. To get something out of my walk with You, I have to sow into my walk with You. It is not just going to happen. Help me to not get weary, but sow into the Spirit and I will reap. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
