See Yourself Through Lens of Grace

September 28, 2017

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.” Romans 8:1

Take a moment and think about what the Scripture above means to you.

Outside of God’s grace is where condemnation lives. Until we come into a true knowledge of Jesus, we will always look at our lives and see where we and others have fallen short. We can’t see God’s love and mercy because all we see is our sin. It is the tree that blocks our view. But if we look at our lives and see Jesus, how He has redeemed, and delivered us, there is no sin blocking us anymore. We then can see Him and receive from Him.

See your life through the lens of grace, not through the lens of condemnation. Fix your eyes on the truth of God’s word and He will change your heart and mind. You are redeemed through Jesus! You are loved because of Jesus! You are made holy and put in right standing with God through Jesus! Your sins can’t disqualify you and your good works can’t qualify you! Everything you are and everything you have is because of Jesus. Tell condemnation goodbye, and say hello to a life of grace and favor with God! His grace doesn’t give you a license to sin, but strength and power to win through Jesus!

Confession: “There is therefore now no condemnation to me. I’m in Christ Jesus. I walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit. God’s not condemning me, so I will not condemn myself. I receive the lens of grace. I put it on and no condemnation blocks my view anymore. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. I live in that freedom. In Jesus name.”
